Types of Facial Fillers
The vast majority of fillers we use at Eberbach Plastic Surgery are from the Juvéderm collection by Allergan. These FDA-approved fillers come in different forms. Juvederm Vobella XC
Juvéderm Volbella is a newer formulation of filler by Allergan. Another key point, it has become very popular in our office. Injectors can use this product to add subtle lip volume and soften vertical lip lines and lines around the mouth.
Radiesse
This product is not part of the Juvederm collection. Our experienced injectors use Radiesse to plump cheeks and treat moderate facial creases. This filler, made from calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a soft gel. Eventually, used for areas such as the nasal labial folds. Facial Fillers - Pre-Treatment Guidelines
Please let our staff know before your appointment if you get cold sores. Provided that, if cold sores occur. You may need to call in for medication. We ask that patients avoid aspirin or ibuprofen (Tylenol is okay) for 2 weeks before filler. Unquestionably, this helps prevent bruising and bleeding. Facial Fillers - Aftercare Instructions
