Careers - Scrub Tech

Scrub Tech – What You Get To Do:

Assisting our surgeons during cosmetic procedures.
Ensuring patients receive excellent care during surgery.
Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating rooms.
Prepare the OR and surgical field to ensure a safe patient care experience.
Preparing patients for surgery, including washing and disinfecting incision sites and applying sterile drapes on the patient.

Scrub Tech – Who Are You:

Passionate about patient care.
Experience with instrumentation.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedures.
A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and surgical technologist certification.

Careers - Patient Coordinator

Eberbach Plastic Surgery of IBI Healthcare is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our growing team in Hudson, FL.

What you get to do:

Assist surgeons in consultations educating potential patients on procedures.
Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself.
Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in, and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
Process payments from patients.
Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provider availability.
Maintain/update patient records and office notes in the EMR system.
Call or text patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services.
Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Keep track and follow up with your set of patients throughout the process to ensure all prerequisite steps have been properly completed for a smooth health appointment.

Who are you:

Candidate must be friendly, a team player, and a multitasker.
Customer service and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).
Professional attitude and appearance.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Excellent organizational skills.
High school degree; additional certification in Office Management or Plastic Surgery experience is a plus.

Who are you:

You graduated from an accredited school and have a current nursing license.
You have previous RN experience in ambulatory surgical centers, hospitals, or acute/chronic care settings
AORN membership/Athena health – preferred
